In Thursday's non-league match, the host Elgin Owls softball team scored a tight 5-0 victory over the Central Bronchos.

The Owls (11-6) will now prepare for their match against Mangum (Mangum, OK). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 13-4 record. In their last match, Mangum tipped Texhoma (Texhoma, OK), 29-2, in a league match.
