September 5, 2024: Pawhuska, OK 74056 Hominy Bucks (Hominy, OK) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Pawhuska Huskies (Pawhuska, OK), 14-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Hominy improves its record to 13-3 on the year. The Bucks host Blackwell (Blackwell, OK) to play the Maroons in a non-league game on Friday, September 6. The Maroons enter the game with a record of 13-12. Blackwell lost 4-2 in their recent non-league game against Alva (Alva, OK)
The Huskies now hold a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Mounds for a 2A game on Tuesday, September 10. Pawhuska will play a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 14-7 league loss to Chouteau-Mazie (Chouteau, OK). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 6-16.
