Oklahoma High School Softball - Marietta can't get by Madill
September 5, 2024: Madill, OK 73446 Madill Wildcats (Madill, OK) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Marietta Indians (Marietta, OK), 4-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Madill improves its record to 3-14 on the year. The Wildcats host Dickson (Ardmore, OK) to play the Comets in a 4A District 1 game on Monday, September 9. The Comets enter the game with a record of 6-9. Dickson won 12-1 in their recent non-league game against Altus (Altus, OK)
The Indians now hold a 2-14 record. They play next when they host Pauls Valley for a non-league game on Friday, September 6. Marietta will play a Panthers squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Classen SAS (Oklahoma City, OK). The Panthers record now stands at 5-15.
