The Screven County Gamecocks triumphed over the visiting McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Gamecocks meet the Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Screven County will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record.
