September 5, 2024: Jonesboro, GA 30236 Jonesboro Cardinals (Jonesboro, GA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Atlanta International Eagles (Atlanta, GA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Jonesboro improves its record to 13-9 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA) to encounter the Yellow Jackets in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The Yellow Jackets go into the test with a record of 6-13. Southeast Bulloch won 3-0 in their recent league test against Groves (Garden City, GA)
The Eagles now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greenforest for a 1A Area 4 test on Tuesday, September 10.
