In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Mendon Unity Mustangs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Brown County Hornets.

The Mustangs (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Triopia/Virginia (Concord, IL). The Trojans enter the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record.
