Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Center Grove Trojans (Greenwood, IN) and the host Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs (Franklin, IN), observed Center Grove's volleyball team top Franklin Community by a count of 3-0.

The Trojans (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Providence (Clarksville, IN). The Pioneers enter the non-league contest with a 4-8 record. In their last bout, Providence defeated New Albany (New Albany, IN), 3-0, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, Franklin Community drops to 10-1 on the campaign. The Grizzly cubs host Whiteland (Whiteland, IN) to clash with the Warriors in a Mid-State bout on Tuesday, September 10.
