California High School Volleyball - Garey bounced by Century
September 5, 2024: Santa Ana, CA 92705 Century Centurions (Santa Ana, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Garey Vikings (Pomona, CA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Century improves its record to 2-4 on the season. The Centurions travel to St. Anthony (Long Beach, CA) to face the Saints in a non-league test on Friday, September 6. The Saints go into the test with a record of 4-6. St. Anthony won 3-0 in their recent league test against Paraclete (Lancaster, CA)
The Vikings now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Entrepreneur for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. Garey will face a Bulls squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Calvary Baptist (La Verne, CA). The Bulls record now stands at 0-5.
