North Carolina High School Volleyball - Covenant Day overwhelmed by Charlotte Christian

September 5, 2024: Matthews, NC 28105

Charlotte Christian Knights (Charlotte, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Charlotte Christian improves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Knights host Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC) to face the Warriors in a non-league test on Monday, September 16. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 4-4.

The Lions now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Mary's for a non-league test on Friday, September 6. Covenant Day will face a Saints squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Trinity Academy (Raleigh, NC). The Saints record now stands at 0-1.
