With the win, Christ the King improves its record to 5-4 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC) to encounter the Spartans in a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A battle on Tuesday, September 10. The Spartans go into the battle with a record of 8-2. Community School of Davidson won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC)

The Cardinals now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Porter Ridge for a non-league battle on Monday, September 9. Corvian Community will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 4-3.
