September 5, 2024: Cisne, IL 62823 In Thursday's league challenge, the host Cisne Runnin' Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Sandoval Blackhawks.
The Runnin' Lions (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Wayne City (Wayne City, IL). The Indians come into the Midland Trail challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Wayne City beat Sparta (Sparta, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Blackhawks meet the Red Hill Salukis (Bridgeport, IL) in a Midland Trail challenge, on Wednesday, September 11. Sandoval will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Salukis come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 2-0 league loss to Patoka (Patoka, IL).
