September 5, 2024: Elk Grove, CA 95757 The Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) volleyball knocked off the host Franklin Wildcats (Elk Grove, CA), 3-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Bruins now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Woodcreek for a Capital Valley Conference challenge on Monday, September 9. Ponderosa will play a Timberwolves team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Placer (Auburn, CA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 5-7.
Next, the Wildcats play the McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 11. Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record.
