September 5, 2024: San Gabriel, CA 91776 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Gabrielino Eagles (San Gabriel, CA) and the visiting Maywood CES Wolfpack (Maywood, CA), observed Gabrielino's volleyball team top Maywood CES by a count of 3-0.
The Eagles (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Arroyo (El Monte, CA). The Knights enter the Mission Valley contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Arroyo was knocked off by Sierra Vista (Baldwin Park, CA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Wolfpack battle the El Rancho Dons (Pico Rivera, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 7. Maywood CES will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Dons enter the contest with a 6-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Baldwin Park (Baldwin Park, CA).
