September 5, 2024: Hayti, MO 63851 New Madrid County Central Eagles (New Madrid, MO) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Hayti Indians (Hayti, MO), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, New Madrid County Central improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Eagles host Caruthersville (Caruthersville, MO) to face the Tigers in a Class 2 District 1 test on Monday, September 9. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 0-2. Caruthersville lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Cooter (Cooter, MO)
The Indians now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holcomb for a Class 1 District 1 test on Monday, September 9. Hayti will face a Hornets squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Delta (Deering, MO). The Hornets record now stands at 2-0.
