September 5, 2024: Heppner, OR 97836 Heppner Mustangs (Heppner, OR) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Pilot Rock Rockets (Pilot Rock, OR), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Heppner advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Mustangs host Weston-McEwen (Athena, OR) to face the TigerScots in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The TigerScots go into the test with a record of 3-3. Weston-McEwen lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against South Wasco County (Maupin, OR)
The Rockets now sport a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Echo for a 1A Old Oregon test on Tuesday, September 10.
