In Friday's non-league game, the Academy at the Lakes Wildcats (Land O' Lakes, FL) football team edged the host First Academy Eagles (Leesburg, FL), by a tally of 22-20.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Foundation Christian Academy Panthers (Valrico, FL) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 18. Academy at the Lakes will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record.
