North Carolina High School Football - Mitchell prevails Andrews

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Mitchell Mountaineers football squad scored a good 38-7 triumph over the Andrews Wildcats.

The Mountaineers (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC). The Black Knights come into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Robbinsville was beaten by Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC), 50-19, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Wildcats confront the Anderson Cavaliers Cavaliers (Anderson, SC) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 12. Andrews will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Cavaliers come into the match with a 0-2 record after their 41-6 non-league loss to Christ Church Episcopal (Greenville, SC).
