Maryland High School Football - Archbishop Spalding can't hold off Hun

The Hun Raiders got by the host Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers football team by a score of 35-28 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders play the Hewlett Sports Academy Eagles (Waldorf, MD) in a challenge, on Friday, September 12. Hun will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 34-20 league loss to St. Frances Academy Regional (Baltimore, MD).

With the defeat, Archbishop Spalding drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD) to meet the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, September 12. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-0. McDonogh won 38-21 in their recent non-league test against St. Anthony's (Melville, NY)
