September 5, 2025: Edison, GA 39846 Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Pataula Charter Academy Panthers (Edison, GA), 42-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Atkinson County advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Rebels travel to Wheeler County (Alamo, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 3-0. Wheeler County won 39-14 in their recent non-league battle against Twiggs County (Jeffersonville, GA)
The Panthers now hold a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Terrell Academy for a non-league match on Friday, September 12. Pataula Charter Academy will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 41-35 non-league win over Mount de Sales Academy (Macon, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.
