The Bear River Bruins football squad scored 30 points and limited the host Union Mine Diamondbacks to 8 in the Bruins non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bruins now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Golden Sierra for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. Bear River will face a Grizzlies team coming off a 36-13 non-league win over Galt (Galt, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 2-0.
