North Carolina High School Football - Chase tops Blacksburg

September 5, 2025: Forest City, NC 28043

The Chase Trojans football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Blacksburg Wildcats to 20 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Madison for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. Chase will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 42-19 non-league loss to North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Blacksburg drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Union County (Union, SC) to meet the Yellowjackets in a non-league test on Friday, September 12. The Yellowjackets go into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Union County lost 27-20 in their recent non-league challenge against York (York, SC)
