In Friday's league match, the visiting Wheaton Knights football squad scored a decisive 32-0 victory over the Blair Blazers.

The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Springbrook (Silver Spring, MD). The Blue Devils enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Springbrook was crushed by Einstein (Kensington, MD), 28-16, in a league battle.

The Blazers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bethesda-Chevy Chase for a Class 4A North battle on Friday, September 12. Blair will play a Barons team coming off a 16-0 non-league loss to Churchill (Potomac, MD). The Barons record now stands at 0-1.
