Texas High School Football - Bridgeland defeats Tompkins

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Bridgeland Bears (Cypress, TX) and the visiting Tompkins Falcons (Katy, TX), saw Bridgeland's football team gain a win over Tompkins by a final score of 42-14.

With the win, Bridgeland advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bears travel to Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 11. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 2-0. Ridge Point won 34-10 in their recent non-league battle against Fulshear (Fulshear, TX)

The Falcons now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Jordan for a 6A Region III District 19 battle on Saturday, September 13. Tompkins will encounter a Warriors team coming off a 27-16 non-league loss to Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.
