In Friday's non-league game, the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs (Washington, UT) football team edged the visiting Brighton Bengals (Salt Lake City, UT), by a tally of 35-29.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Hurricane Tigers (Hurricane, UT) in a 4A Region 9 outing, on Friday, September 12. Crimson Cliffs will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record.
