South Dakota High School Football - Redfield overwhelmed by Britton-Hecla
September 5, 2025: Britton, SD 57430 The Britton-Hecla Braves walloped the visiting Redfield Pheasants football team by a score of 61-22 in Friday's league test.
The Braves now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Florence/Henry for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. Britton-Hecla will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 42-0 league loss to Great Plains Lutheran (Watertown, SD). The Falcons record now stands at 0-2.
With the defeat, Redfield drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Pheasants travel to Stanley County (Fort Pierre, SD) to clash with the Buffalos in a non-league test on Friday, September 12. The Buffalos come into the test with a record of 2-1. Stanley County won 36-30 in their recent non-league test against Leola/Frederick (Leola, SD)
