The Central Rockets edged the visiting Cary-Grove Trojans football team by a score of 10-7 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Rockets clash with the Jacobs Golden Eagles (Algonquin, IL) in a Fox Valley outing, on Friday, September 12. Central will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 33-22 league loss to Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL).

With the defeat, Cary-Grove drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host McHenry (McHenry, IL) to clash with the Warriors in a Fox Valley outing on Friday, September 12.
