The John Curtis Christian Patriots (River Ridge, LA) football were winner over the visiting Cathedral Phantoms (Los Angeles, CA), 54-26 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Patriots now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Northshore for a non-league outing on Friday, September 12. John Curtis Christian will face a Panthers team coming off a 27-13 non-league loss to Picayune (Picayune, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.

The Phantoms (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Simi Valley (Simi Valley, CA). The Pioneers enter the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Simi Valley was knocked off by Shadow Ridge (Las Vegas, NV), 41-40, in a non-league outing.
