New York High School Football - Kennedy thwarted by Cattaraugus-Little Valley
September 5, 2025: Cattaraugus, NY 14719 Cattaraugus-Little Valley Timberwolves (Cattaraugus, NY) boosters left the game content Friday as they observed their football squad top the visiting Kennedy Bears (Cheektowaga, NY), 28-12 in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Timberwolves face the Wilson Lakemen (Wilson, NY) in a Section 6 D challenge, on Friday, September 12. Cattaraugus-Little Valley will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Lakemen go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 42-6 non-league win over Alden (Alden, NY).
The Bears (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Mary's (Lancaster, NY). The Lancers come into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, St. Mary's went down by Western New York Maritime Charter/Tapestry (Buffalo, NY), 46-28, in a non-league test.
