The Central Valley Cougars football squad scored 46 points and limited the visiting West Holt Huskies to 0 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stanton for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 12. Central Valley will face a Mustangs team coming off a 82-32 non-league loss to Wausa/Osmond (Wausa, NE). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.

The Huskies (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Ainsworth (Ainsworth, NE). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Ainsworth was ripped by Sandhills/Thedford (Dunning, NE), 33-24, in a non-league challenge.
