The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) and the visiting Villa Rica Wildcats (Villa Rica, GA), witnessed Central's football squad wallop Villa Rica by a tally of 45-7.

The Lions (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA). The Tigers go into the AAAA Region 3 bout with a 0-3 record.

The Wildcats now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Alexander for a AAAAA Region 5 bout on Friday, September 12. Villa Rica will encounter a Cougars team coming off a 34-31 non-league win over Cedartown (Cedartown, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-2.
