Arizona High School Football - Chaparral falls to Saguaro

September 5, 2025: Scottsdale, AZ 85250

The Saguaro Sabercats felled the visiting Chaparral Firebirds football team by a score of 23-10 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Sabercats play the Salpointe Catholic Lancers (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Saguaro will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Lancers go into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 30-17 non-league win over Tucson High Magnet School (Tucson, AZ).

The Firebirds (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Arizona College Prep (Chandler, AZ). The Knights go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Arizona College Prep knocked off Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ), 19-15, in a non-league test.
