Colorado High School Football - Cherokee Trail tops ThunderRidge

September 5, 2025: Aurora, CO 80016

The Cherokee Trail Cougars football squad scored 21 points and limited the visiting ThunderRidge Grizzlies to 11 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mountain Vista for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 11. Cherokee Trail will play a Golden Eagles team coming off a 48-13 non-league win over Erie (Erie, CO). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 3-0.

The Grizzlies (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Arapahoe (Centennial, CO). The Warriors go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Arapahoe toppled Heritage (Littleton, CO), 35-14, in a non-league challenge.
