In their next game, the Comets face the Sequoyah Eagles (Claremore, OK) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 12. Kansas will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 24-7 non-league loss to Colcord (Colcord, OK).
