In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Fort Defiance Indians football squad scored a good 33-14 triumph over the Clarke County Eagles.

The Indians (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA). The Little Giants come into the Shenandoah battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Waynesboro prevailed over Monticello (Charlottesville, VA), 28-27, in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Catoctin for a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. Clarke County will play a Cougars team coming off a 18-6 non-league loss to Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.
