The Southwest DeKalb Panthers football squad scored 62 points and limited the host Clarkston Angoras to 0 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they host North Springs for a AAAA Region 5 challenge on Friday, September 12. Southwest DeKalb will face a Spartans team coming off a 27-10 league loss to Druid Hills (Atlanta, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-3.

The Angoras (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Tucker (Tucker, GA). The Tigers go into the AAAA Region 5 challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Tucker was ripped by Lithonia (Lithonia, GA), 27-20, in a league challenge.
