Iowa High School Football - Winterset sneaks past Creston
September 5, 2025: Creston, IA 50801 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Winterset Huskies football squad scored a close 28-27 triumph over the Creston Panthers.
The Huskies (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Van Meter (Van Meter, IA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Van Meter tipped Treynor (Treynor, IA), 21-13, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Panthers play the Glenwood Rams (Glenwood, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Creston will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Rams go into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 17-12 non-league win over Harlan (Harlan, IA).
