South Carolina High School Football - Lugoff-Elgin tops Darlington

September 5, 2025: Lugoff, SC 29078

The Lugoff-Elgin Demons football squad scored 45 points and limited the visiting Darlington Falcons to 21 in the Demons non-league triumph on Friday.

The Demons now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Aiken for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 12. Lugoff-Elgin will face a Fighting Green Hornets team coming off a 36-17 non-league loss to Hilton Head Island (Hilton Head Island, SC). The Fighting Green Hornets record now stands at 2-1.

The Falcons (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cheraw (Cheraw, SC). The Braves go into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Cheraw toppled Conway (Conway, SC), 13-3, in a non-league challenge.
