New York High School Football - Depew sneaks past Dunkirk
September 5, 2025: Depew, NY 14043 The Depew Wildcats football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Dunkirk Marauders to 21 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Iroquois for a Section 6 B - 2 test on Thursday, September 11. Depew will meet a Redhawks squad coming off a 45-14 non-league loss to Grand Island (Grand Island, NY). The Redhawks record now stands at 0-1.
The Marauders (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Albion (Albion, NY). The Purple Eagles enter the Section 6 B - 3 challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Albion was edged by Lewiston-Porter (Youngstown, NY), 33-14, in a non-league challenge.
