Florida High School Football - Killian sneaks past Edison

September 5, 2025: Miami, FL 33176

The Killian Cougars football squad scored 24 points and limited the visiting Edison Red Raiders to 18 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Dade for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 12. Killian will face a Buccaneers team coming off a 49-3 non-league loss to Norland (Miami, FL). The Buccaneers record now stands at 2-1.

The Red Raiders (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Chaminade-Madonna (Hollywood, FL). The Lions enter the 1A District 14 challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Chaminade-Madonna held off American Heritage (Plantation, FL), 28-24, in a non-league challenge.
