The Foothill Mustangs football team (Sacramento, CA), was crushed 50-6 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA)

With the win, Ponderosa advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Bruins travel to Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA) to confront the Grizzlies in a non-league contest on Friday, September 12. The Grizzlies enter the contest with a record of 2-1. Granite Bay won 45-7 in their recent non-league contest against Vista del Lago (Folsom, CA)

Coming up next, the Mustangs confront the Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 12. Foothill will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 1-2 record after their 35-15 non-league win over Center (Antelope, CA).
