The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Vicksburg Gators (Vicksburg, MS) and the visiting Forest Hill Patriots (Jackson, MS), witnessed Vicksburg's football squad wallop Forest Hill by a tally of 48-12.

The Gators (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Ridgeland (Ridgeland, MS). The Titans enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Ridgeland crushed Provine (Jackson, MS), 42-20, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Patriots battle the Bay Springs Bulldogs (Bay Springs, MS) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 12. Forest Hill will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 20-8 non-league win over Taylorsville (Taylorsville, MS).
