The Francis Parker Lancers edged the visiting New Designs Watts Knights football team by a score of 34-30 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lancers face the Polytechnic Panthers (Pasadena, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Francis Parker will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 41-0 non-league loss to Flintridge Prep (La Canada, CA).

The Knights (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against California School for the Deaf-Riverside (Riverside, CA). The Cubs enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last test, California School for the Deaf-Riverside edged Animo Robinson (Los Angeles, CA), 60-0, in a non-league test.
