Ohio High School Football - Huron falls to Genoa Area

September 5, 2025: Huron, OH 44839

The Genoa Area Comets felled the host Huron Tigers football squad by a margin of 42-32 in Friday's non-league test.

The Comets now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Otsego for a Northern Buckeye test on Friday, September 12. Genoa Area will meet a Knights squad coming off a 40-0 non-league loss to Liberty Center (Liberty Center, OH). The Knights record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Huron falls to 1-2 on the year. The Tigers host Ridgedale (Morral, OH) to face the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 12. The Rockets enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Ridgedale lost 30-7 in their recent league challenge against Ridgemont (Mount Victory, OH)
