The Sheffield Knights football team (Memphis, TN), was crushed 65-0 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Germantown Red Devils (Germantown, TN)

The Red Devils (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Whitehaven (Memphis, TN). The Tigers enter the 6A Region 8 contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Whitehaven crushed Fairley (Memphis, TN), 25-6, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Knights confront the Bluff City Gray Wolves (Memphis, TN) in a 2A Region 8 contest, on Friday, September 12. Sheffield will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Gray Wolves enter the contest with a 0-3 record after their 52-6 league loss to Mitchell (Memphis, TN).
