The Glen Rose Beavers were winner over the host Malvern Leopards football squad by a margin of 35-21 in Friday's non-league test.

The Beavers now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bismarck for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. Glen Rose will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 61-0 non-league win over Mineral Springs (Mineral Springs, AR). The Lions record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Malvern drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Leopards host Stuttgart (Stuttgart, AR) to clash with the Ricebirds in a non-league game on Friday, September 12. The Ricebirds enter the game with a record of 2-0. Stuttgart won 48-14 in their recent non-league game against Central Arkansas Christian (North Little Rock, AR)
