In Friday's league game, the Juniata Valley Hornets (Alexandria, PA) football team edged the host Glendale Vikings (Flinton, PA), by a tally of 12-8.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the Claysburg-Kimmel Bulldogs (Claysburg, PA) in a Inter-County - North game, on Friday, September 12. Juniata Valley will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 2-1 record after their 45-28 league win over West Branch (Morrisdale, PA).

The Vikings (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA). The Black Knights/Damsels come into the Inter-County - North outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Moshannon Valley edged Southern Huntingdon County (Three Springs, PA), 35-0, in a league outing.
