Michigan High School Football - Hancock can't hold off Menominee
September 5, 2025: Hancock, MI 49930 Menominee Maroons (Menominee, MI) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad nudge the host Hancock Bulldogs (Hancock, MI), 1-0 in a league match.
The Maroons (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Westwood (Ishpeming, MI). The Patriots come into the Western Peninsula - Copper match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Westwood was nudged by Calumet (Calumet, MI), 55-6, in a league battle.
The Bulldogs now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Houghton for a Western Peninsula - Copper match on Friday, September 12. Hancock will meet a Gremlins squad coming off a 29-6 league loss to Kingsford (Kingsford, MI). The Gremlins record now stands at 0-2.
