Montgomery Central Indians (Cunningham, TN) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Harpeth Indians (Kingston Springs, TN), 26-9 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Montgomery Central advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Indians host Northwest (Clarksville, TN) to confront the Vikings in a non-league match on Friday, September 12. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 1-2. Northwest lost 35-0 in their recent non-league battle against Davidson Academy (Nashville, TN)

The Indians now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Cheatham County Central for a 3A Region 6 battle on Friday, September 12. Harpeth will play a Cubs team coming off a 12-8 league win over Stewart County (Dover, TN). The Cubs record now stands at 2-1.
