Virginia High School Football - Langley triumphant over Herndon

September 5, 2025: McLean, VA 22101

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Langley Saxons (McLean, VA) and the visiting Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA), saw Langley's football team bounce Herndon by a final score of 48-7.

With the win, Langley advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Saxons host Westfield (Chantilly, VA) to encounter the Bulldogs in a District 1 bout on Friday, September 12. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Westfield won 31-15 in their recent non-league contest against Fairfax (Fairfax, VA)

Coming up next, the Hornets confront the Chantilly Chargers (Chantilly, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 12. Herndon will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Chargers enter the contest with a 2-0 record after their 21-17 non-league win over West Springfield (Springfield, VA).
