The Palma Chieftains felled the visiting Hilmar Yellowjackets football team by a score of 48-20 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Chieftains face the Alisal Trojans (Salinas, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Palma will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 2-0 record after their 34-16 non-league win over Leigh (San Jose, CA).

With the defeat, Hilmar drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Atwater (Atwater, CA) to meet the Falcons in a non-league test on Friday, September 12. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 2-1. Atwater won 27-14 in their recent non-league test against Gregori (Modesto, CA)
